Day 11: Rookie Showdown!

Today's battle throws two Oilers rookies into the ring: Kyle "Astroboy" Brodziak and Robbie "Banana Hammock" Schremp!

Brodziak is an Alberta boy who was touted as an "unsung hero" when he played for the Moose Jaw Warriors. New Yorker Schremp, on the other hand, is apparently a "wizard." So, which do you prefer: Canadian heroes, or American wizards? Vote now in the comments!

I'll take Brodziak anyday over Schremp. Schremp's photo makes him look like he is mentally undressing you and like he would use the tragic "wink and gun" on you as a pick up line in a bar. And that is to say nothing of that horrifying, retina-burning, US national embarassment of a man-thong. Eek.

I say Brodziak - Schremp really isn't that hot, despite my guy friend saying that Schremp is the best looking Oiler this year. Guess he will have to vote and recriut fellow Schremp lovers, cuz Brodziak is winning so far.

Schremp is one of those guys you just know will be famous for some horrible reason. I suspect we'll one day know his middle name as in "Robert Kenneth Schremp was sentenced to five years in prison today for breaking Wilt Chamberlain's, ahem, record."

My jealousy of this fact forces me to vote for Brodziak.

If you hadn't given me the name, i woudla sworn Brodziak looks a little Slavic there, maybe Russian or Czech. Really, it looks like the sort of picture you see from a page describing your teams newest Russian first round draft pick that no one has ever heard of or has stats for.

That just probably applies to the Oilers though.

Brodziak - I had no idea he's such a cutie! And he's an Alberta boy, which gets him extra brownie points. I do think Schremp's pretty hot and it's unfortunate that he takes creepy photos, but the banana hammock is just...no. *shudder*
